2019 Research Training for Junior Faculty Members is now accepting application

8 junior researchers will be selected to participate in a research training program in Europe during which they are going to undergo:

  • 2 weeks of research training at the LAPE, University of Limoges, France, and
  •  6 weeks of research training in one of the following European universities: University of Limoges, France; Bangor University, UK; University of Rome III, Italy; and Technical University of Crete, Greece, where they will be supervised by reputable scholars in the field of banking and finance

Travel and subsistence expenses will be covered by the OPTBANK project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

  Requirements

  • Permanent Academic Staff of an Indonesian university. Priority will be given to those affiliated with the following universities:
    Universitas Sebelas Maret; Institut Teknologi Bandung; Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah; Universitas Syiah Kuala; Universitas Sriwijaya; Universitas Tanjungpura
  • Maximum age of 40 years old
  • Educational attainment: Master Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting or other related fields (PhD degree holders are not allowed to apply)
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Has background in conducting research
  • Interested (preferably, has background) in the field of banking and finance
  • Has strong motivation to take PhD

  Application package

  • 1-page motivation letter
  • Detailed CV including list of research and publications
  • 2-3 pages of research proposal in the field of banking and finance
  • Recommendation letter from the Dean
  • English certificate (IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Published/ working papers
  • Academic Transcript
